Martha Diaz
Martha Diaz is a San Francisco base artist living her dream of creating art. As a child, she wanted to be an artist; she loved drawing and creating things with her hands. Martha Diaz postponed her dream of a career in art and instead pursued a career in healthcare and raised a family. Her desire to create never truly waned and resurfaced once her children became teenagers. Martha began taking every opportunity to learn by reading books and enlisting in art classes and workshops from many well known artist. Martha's passion for art does not stay in the studio, often she is seen painting on location along the coast or at a nearby park. A lot of Martha Diaz's paintings are inspired from morning walks on the coast and by the experiences she encounters while hiking in the woods. Martha's goal is to draw the viewer into her art and feel the intimacy and deep connection she channels when creating art. Martha possesses a profound emotional attunement to the world that resonates outward through her work into the imagination of the viewer.
